Wedding Information

Your Wedding

Your wedding is a very special day to you, so you want to be assured that you have great lasting memories of the day. My expertise as a professional cameraman for the past  decade has enabled me to pinpoint the areas at the venue(s) which will create the best possible photographs.

The Initial Meeting

When I meet any prospective clients for the first time I show them a number of example wedding albums. This allows me to establish what style of photography & album they like.

The next thing I like to do is discuss the timings for the day &venue(s) location(s) which I carefully note down. I also like to discuss and document who the key people are at the wedding eg bestman, bridesmaids, ushers, pageboys immediate family etc. This makes my job much easier on the day as I now have a clear idea of who’s who on a first name basis which helps them feel more relaxed on the day.

The next stage is to discuss which group photos my clients would like. Together we will document the list of photographs from the largest group photo to the smallest using my knowledge of the usual photos which are taken on the day. I will then order them in the most time effective way thus creating minimum fuss.

The Pre-wedding Meeting

I always like to meet my clients at the venue(s) at least once before their big day to take some photographs. Meeting at the venue(s) 1-2 weeks prior to the wedding at a similar time to the end of the ceremony gives me a good idea of the direction of the sun and therefore the best locations to take the photographs in. At the pre-wedding meeting we will also cover basic posing techniques which will be adopted on the day to create photos of the highest visual quality.
